At the Pieters-church (Pieterskerk) in Leiden the Lakenhal museum has an outside exposition of ‘De Stijl’ by Theo van Doesburg. If you like abstract images with geometric lines, shapes and planes you should visit this exposition. With De Stijl buildings, furniture, clothes, film and advertising were all given a new, modern look.
The exhibition features work by 20 contemporary artists from all over the world. Using geometric shapes and bright colors as their key visual element, they translate the radical form language of De Stijl here and now.
The Lakenhal open air museum is free, and will be there till the 27 of August.
